Full Tilt Poker is covering the WSOP via poker Tweets of there biggest and hottest stars. Erik Seidel just Tweeted that Phil Ivey just bet Howard Lederer he would win 2 bracelets in 3 years starting in 2010. This is a task that only Phil Ivey would feel confident in completing. Howard Lederer, Erik Seidel, Beth Shak and Andy Bloch are all tweeting from the tables. Rafe Furst and Beth Shak are also posting on the social network Facebook as well. Check out Full Tilt Poker’s live WSOP coverage here.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Casey Reese’s family after the loss of two family members in 2 years.

March 13th, 2009Fastest Growing Poker Rooms

Fastest Growing Poker Rooms

In terms of percentage growth in the last year, the Entraction Network is growing the fastest at 113%. This is mainly due to the fact that they have acquired numerous smaller poker sites. The main site on the Entraction Network is 24h Poker, which continues to be a favorite of European players. Some other notable gainers include PokerStars at 59%, Cake Poker at 46%, PKR at 47%, and Full Tilt Poker at 39%. All of these sites appear to be in great position to continue their growth. Two of them, Cake and Entraction, have taken the network route to continue their growth. Poker networks have many different sites that share the same tables, effectively creating one site out of many. The other three are stand alone sites, and have continued to grow through clever branding.

In terms of total player growth, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker continue to be at the top. The big get bigger in both of these cases, which makes a lot of sense in online poker. More players means more tables, which provides players with a better selection of games. This in turn makes the sites more attractive to new players.
